I implement effective techniques that support self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations one step at a time. I enjoy using humor in my approach as I support you in discovering healthy coping skills and useful insight into areas such as addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, and social skills. Throughout the discovery process, we will often be able to identify patterns of behavior that are no longer useful, and work together to find more effective ways of responding to your current situation. While I would love to tell you I have a miracle button in my office, it is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic button or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and therapist together. In the end, helping you in making those small steps can bring life-altering results.
